<div dir="ltr">Hello all<br><br>the problem we are facing is a little complicated but I'll try to explain it as stripped down as possible:<br><br>We are using kernel 3.10.25-roche-rt23 #3 SMP PREEMPT RT<br><br>.) we have a realtime process C (rtprio=80 - of all "our" processes this is the one with the highest prio) which makes (heavy) use of eth0 (rtprio=90)<br>
.) the machine also runs an proftp-server on eth1 (rtprio=50)<br><br>If we now make a (large) file up- or download via ftp the process C has no "access" to the eth0 - that means sending and receiving of UDP packages fails.<br>
<br>It seems to us as if there is some "hidden" connection between eth0 and eth1 and that the traffic on eth1 (though lower prio) "blocks" eth0.<br><br>Any hint what this could be or how to "debug" this problem very appreciated.<br>
