I have tried compile linux-rt 2.6.29.6 on a very old desktop for an own
embedded real time control system :

-- Bios american megatrends (1997)
-- CPU AMD Duron 892 MHz
-- RAM 256 Mb
-- Hard disk 40 gb

During kernel configuration i have enabled "high resolution timers", ACPI
and PM timer.

However, i don't get enabled the "high resolution timers" when running
cyclictest, current_clocksource = tsc after boot.

There are some kernel configurations that i have ommited? or must i give up
to linux-rt on my old desktop?

thanks in advance.
